Devlog 5


In the previous devlog, we showcased updates to the sprites and environments of our game, along with the implementation of a player death system triggered when their health reached zero. Additionally, we introduced significant bug fixes to improve stability and gameplay.

For this iteration, our primary focus was on enhancing the combat system by implementing unique special attacks for each character, as well as improving the user interface. Here’s an overview of the updates:

New Features:

  • Blackjack – Special attack implemented.
  • Slots – Special attack implemented.
  • Roulette – Special attack implemented.
  • Ultimate Attack for Blackjack
  • Added new HUD visuals to improve player immersion and usability.

Bug Fixes:

  • Improved the functionality and responsiveness of special attacks.
  • Fixed issues with stat betting not working as intended.
  • Corrected melee attack damage scaling to ensure balanced combat mechanics.

What's Next:

For the next iteration, we plan to refine these features further and implement all ultimate abilities for the remaining characters. Additionally, we aim to introduce the special ability for the character Dudo, expanding the gameplay and adding more variety to combat strategies.
