Devlog 2


In the last devlog, we showcased a functional 3D environment along with the multiplayer system. For this devlog, we wanted to take it a step further by making a series of changes that we will now discuss:

  • The 3D model was replaced by Godot's robot.
  • Hitboxes and hurtboxes were implemented.
  • Attack animation with its respective hitbox was added, triggered by clicking.
  • Unique health bars were implemented for each player.
  • The camera's angle and rotation was adjusted.
  • Our beautiful new menu was implemented.
  • Minor bug fixes.

Next steps:

For the next devlog, we plan to start implementing combat mechanics specific to each role in the combat system, improving the current system, creating a pause menu, changing the environmental assets (ground, background, and more), and setting a win/loss condition.
